This shirt recreates the traditional embroidery motifs of Eastern Podillia. In this region, alongside the familiar geometric patterns, floral designs were also common\u2014particularly in the shirts from the Shargorod district of Vinnytsia. In the 20th century, these florals were embroidered in a distinctive palette: deep-toned flowers with burgundy, blue, or even violet accents.<\/p>\n
The embroidery is done with matte wool threads, creating a textured, vintage-inspired look that closely resembles hand embroidery while maintaining the precision of modern craftsmanship. The front features fine pleats, and the cuffs fasten with buttons. Since the sleeves are the main design accent, we left the front unembroidered so it pairs beautifully with layered or statement necklaces.<\/p>\n
