Embroidered Lace Apron Inspired by Bryansky’s Portrait of a Girl in an Embroidered Dress

The ornament on this apron is reproduced from the painting Portrait of a Girl in an Embroidered Dress by Ukrainian artist Mykhailo Bryansky, formerly part of the collection of the Kherson Regional Art Museum, whose artworks were looted during the Russian occupation.

In the painting, the embroidery is depicted in red and blue tones. Similar ornamental motifs were widespread across the Chernihiv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions, as well as in the northern parts of Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts. Researchers have not been able to determine the exact regional origin of this embroidery, making it a shared cultural image rather than one tied to a single locality.

By recreating this ornament, we wanted the piece to carry the memory of the artist, the painting, and the museum that continues to await the return of its collection.

Delivered via Nova Poshta. We ship packages every day from Monday to Friday in the evening. If the item is in stock and payment is made by 16:00, the item is dispatched on the same business day; otherwise, it will be sent the next day.

International Delivery:
Automatically calculated after filling out the main checkout fields and selecting the delivery country. For orders totaling ₴12,000 and above, international delivery is free. Below are the estimated delivery times to the most popular countries for your convenience:

• USA: Via Nova Poshta, with an expected delivery time of 7-10 calendar days.
• Germany: Via Nova Poshta, with an expected delivery time of usually 7 calendar days.
• Poland, Czech Republic, and other neighboring countries: Typically up to 7 days.
• United Kingdom: You have the option to choose between UkrPoshta or Nova Poshta.

Recently, Nova Poshta Global has added several countries with very low rates. If your country is already on Nova Poshta’s delivery list and you are satisfied with the rate, we would be delighted to ship to you via Nova Poshta instead of UkrPoshta as it is much faster! Please add a note to your order or contact us directly.

Payment:

You can easily pay for your order on our website with any bank card from around the world.
If you can’t checkout from the website, please, contact us on Instagram, and the manager will provide the details of alternative methods of payment.

Exchange and Returns:

Exchanges and returns are available for the entire range, except for custom-made orders, i.e., orders where you requested a change in thread color, buttons, design, etc. Of course, the item must be in new condition without signs of wear and pet hair from your cat 🙂 You can send back the item that doesn’t fit with a simple free return within Ukraine. If you are abroad, contact us first so we can provide details for delivery.

After receiving and checking the item, we process the refund within 5-7 business days.

Customs Fees:

If your package is sent abroad, it may undergo customs clearance.
Please note that we are not responsible for the cost of customs duties and other fees. This is the buyer’s responsibility. Customs duties are not included in the price of the goods.
For EU countries, through Nova Poshta Global, we always provide a low customs value to avoid customs clearance issues, and usually, everything goes smoothly. However, if customs duties are nevertheless charged, it is the buyer’s responsibility to pay them.
